Just checking in with a quick update – I finished the first draft of my new book this week, on time, and I still love it (which is rare at this point). It needs a good, thorough revision, of course, but the bones are down and I know I can work with them.

Still a lot more deadlines – self-imposed and otherwise – to hit over the next few weeks. There are synopses to write, galleys to check, stories to submit, pitches to write… All very exciting stuff. And right now, in the euphoria of the finished book, everything seems possible!

Check in next week to see me panic that it’s all impossible, it can’t be done, and I was crazy to ever think it could.
