All The Cake In The World

Or: Why My Friends & Family Are The Best Ever This weekend, I turned 33. I’m a big believer in making the most of birthdays, as anyone who has had to listen to me going on and on about this one will testify. I know some people prefer to ignore them, or at least ignore … Continue reading »

Sleepovers and Celebrations

Posted on February 15, 2013 by Sophie Pembroke • Leave a comment

The first thing most people said to me, when I told them I’d been offered a book deal with Mills and Boon, and signed a contract with Lyrical Press for the third book in the Love From Wales series, all in the same week, was, “You’ll have to celebrate!” I didn’t argue with them. Bake 19 – Magical Marble Cake

I’m getting a bit behind on my bakes, what with holidays, book releases and putting our house on the market by accident (more on that later in the week). I suspect that come Christmas, I’ll be baking every day trying to catch up before the New Year. Not that lots of festive cakes would necessarily be a … Continue reading »

Bake 1: Bunloaf

My husband finds the name of this cake hilarious. I cannot explain why. He does, however, still love to eat it, usually slathered in butter. It’s a basic tea-leaf, but it’s always been bunloaf in my family. It’s the cake that my grandmother and mother always made, and one that my Mum, the lactose intolerant, can … Continue reading »

Romance Writer

Hello!

I'm Sophie, and I write romances about friends, family and falling in love.

My next book, Stranded with the Tycoon, will be released as part of the Harlequin Romance line this September, with another book to follow from them next year.

In December, the third novel in my Love from Wales series, Summer of Love, will be released from Lyrical Press - the first two are available as e-books in all formats right now.

Between books, I blog about my family, my life here in Britain, cake and castles.

I'm thrilled to have you here!
