Not for the first time, my goals have shifted a bit since the last checkin. Basically, instead of splitting my efforts over two projects this week, I decided to focus on finishing up the edit of Sea Fever first.
Which turned out to be a good move, since I’ve edited 19,000 words of it since Sunday.
So, I’m sticking with what’s working. By next Sunday, I want Sea Fever off my desk and onto somebody else’s. That’s it.
Yay! Great job Sophie! Sticking with what works has worked wonders for me. I’m a whole lot less panicky and a whole lot more productive. Keep up the great work with the editing. 😀
Yes, I’m editing, too, and it’s hard to do a word count (for me) on edits, but I’ve covered a number of pages since the last update.
Hang in there! Love your blog…it cheers me up with those roses in the header.
Sounds like you have a good game plan!
