Ingredients
- 600ml milk
- 142ml carton of double cream
- 100g 70% dark chocolate
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- mini marshmallows (optional)
Method
- Chop the chocolate into small pieces
- Heat the milk, cream and chocolate in a small saucepan
- Bring to the boil and simmer gently, whisking continuously
- Serve topped with marshmallows (or whipped cream, or grated chocolate, or a dusting of cinnamon… whatever takes your fancy!)
