The Kiss Before Christmas
Heart-warming, hilarious and simply irresistible, The Kiss Before Christmas continues to affirm Sophie Pembroke’s standing as one of romantic fiction’s fastest rising stars!
A perfect Christmas read.
A great festive romance. My heart melted for the characters and I felt for their situation. Their story was engaging and I couldn’t stop reading!
This is a well crafted, quick enjoyable Christmas read. Well worth a few hours, of your time. I will be keeping my eye out for more from this talented author in 2014.
Summer of Love
A lovely little “local bad girl” makes good story where the prodigal ‘bad boy’ of this little Welsh town returns to make a new start. Pembroke has a way of presenting the characters that gives an instant emotional reaction to the reader: understanding their flaws or disliking their behavior, you will never be bored.
I loved Lily, and like Alex wondered why on earth she’s been with Edward so long…and then as things unfolded in the novel I understood where she was coming from.
Summer Of Love is about expectations, pressure and the ability to be yourself. Lily has to learn to live for herself and not as other people expect her to. Alex has to adapt to his new circumstances and realise his idea of a perfect marriage may not exist.
Stranded with the Tycoon
With its well thought-out storyline, fans of passionate tales will want to read this one repeatedly.
Cataromance: 4/5 stars!
If you’re looking for the perfect romance to curl up with on a cold winter’s night, then look no further than Sophie Pembroke’s fantastic debut novel for Harlequin Romance, Stranded with the Tycoon.
Harlequin Junkie: 4/5 stars!
Stranded with the Tycoon is a beautifully written romance novel with a slow build up.The romance was based more on the conversations between the characters and how they thought about each other rather than their mutual attraction and passion.
Lucy Felthouse for Blog Critics: 5 stars!
I very much enjoyed Stranded with the Tycoon. I loved that the lead female was a history buff, and some of the references made me smile. The writing style is easy and engaging, the characters fun and likeable – despite their faults – their back stories worked for me, too. Overall, a very romantic tale which left me with a warm and fuzzy feeling. I look forward to more from Ms. Pembroke.
Room for Love
Romance Writers Reviews: 5/5 Stars
Sweet, sexy, and then sweet again. “Room for Love” is a beautiful romance story.
Long & Short Reviews: 4/5 Stars
Room for Love is a contemporary story that warmed my heart… I have a soft spot for some of the great secondary characters that helped keep this story fresh and exiting. If you love contemporaries, why not make some room on your bookshelf for “Room For Love“?
An A to Z of Love
For the Love of Film and Novels: 4/5 Stars
This was a really good story. I liked how at first there was a sense of mystery to the readers… What happened that made Mia the big news of the small Village of Aberarian? Well, you just have to read to find out.
